18650 batteries 'extreme' capacity - real mAh values?

The other person states they are 'worn out', from your reply it seems that no one used them before. So how is it?

When you buy cheap junk from a foreign country then how do you know if it is used or is new? How do you know if the capacity claim is true or is false?

For a reference check this website. The owner buy and test various 18650 battery cells. even between different products of a brand sometimes there are significant difference.

The battery tests are excellent.
But how do you know if the battery is real or is a fake?
But how do you know if the protection circuit is real or is simply a photo of a protection circuit?

I have a solar/battery powered calculator. The solar cell is simply a photo of a solar cell.

The many batteries tested do not have a capacity anywhere near this one's rated 6000mAh.
It is VERY CHEAP, is sold on E-Bay and is shipped from Hong Kong so it might be fake.
