Hi,

Can anyone help me with a circuit for an inverter.
I need it to be as small as possible.

I build ones with reversed 'standard' transformers, but they are too bulky for the application I want to use it in.

It doesn't have to be a mod.sine. Its just for led lighting...

I never done this, so i need some help :D

Hi, you can try this one.

If I am not mistaken this is a design for a large transformer (aprox. 50x50x50mm).

I need it too be very small like a carinverter in the sigaretteholder or something..

Thanks anyway...

:D

Hi,if you want it to be more compact then you can use DC to DC Converter to boost your 12v to 260v DC then you drive it with 50hz oscillators and some bridge drivers,or you can simply get 12v/1amp transformer since you don't need much power.

Hi Karibu,

Thanks for the reply. Do you have an example schematic lying around? :D
Then I can modify it to my needs.

gr,
Jarno

Hi, if you are powering LED then why using AC voltage why not DC voltage?
