boost converter schematic
Hello all,
Could you please help me to simulate this simple boost inverter design using Multisim: The original switch controller for my Power MOSFET is LM5022 (10 pins). But I cannot find this LM5022 in the library of the Multisim 8. That's why I used LM555 (8 pins) timer as a substitute.
And there my problem started. I tried to mix up the LM5022 with the LM555 and try to simulate in the Multisim. The Vout that I could get from the attached circuit is 10.857Vdc only. I played around but can't find the exact values of the different components with the duty ratio.
I want to convert the 12 Vdc, to 100Vdc using the boost converter design. And from there on I want to use Full bridge or Push Pull inverter to boost to 230Vac, 50Hz.
For those who already experienced in designing an inverter, may you please differentiate (if there is any) which is more appropriate or more feasible to use, Full Bridge or Push Pull inverter in terms of operation and efficiency. I think both of them needs 4 Power Mosfet to switch.
Thank you very much. Hope to hear from you all.
thanks,
joe
