12V battery to 230 V AC Output

1.Can we drive the 230V AC Induction stove on 12V DC battery by using simple Inverter Circuit:!:

Yes, it should be possible.
Make sure the inverter can handle the required load. Make sure the inverter has proper feedback to keep output voltage regulated.

Yes, but for short time, in range from several minutes to 15min of stove operation.


Stove power:
2A 440W
3A 660W
5A 1100W

I will say, lets be 500W of stove power, that is 42A on lower side (battery side).

26Ah / 42A = 0,61h of operation in math, in real life should not be less then C/10 of battery capacity.

You will kill your battery very soon.

You should go on higher voltage like example 48V or more, to decrease current. Higher voltage can be achieved with multiple batteries in serie.


Also consider heating elements to work on DC battery voltage, to avoid loss in efficiency during power conversions in inverter.

Thanks but our Inverter Circuit is not able to keep output voltage regulated,can you help us with the proper working inverter circuit that can handle the required load without
voltage drop.

What working time for stove you need?

This posted inverter cant handle required power.

What is the power rating of the stove?

You can find many inverter circuits on edaboard. Use the search facility.
