AVR and external memory

hello friends
I need to interface AVR uC and external ram and rom. because the internal ram and rom of AVR uC is little for my project. can you suggest any schematic or tips or tricks?

If speed is need a parrallel memory is best

if speed is not a concern use i2c

In my opinion go for a larger chip which will reduce all your effort

Really how much memory do you need? I can see upto 64K in avr

Hi,
If the chip does not have provision for ROM expansion, you can not do it. RAM can be expanded as told above using i2c to save the usage of port pins.

try to use i2c, u can conect a lot of device there, if u still confuse try to read about i2c and TWI on avr datasheet. it's easy to use.

i've conect my avr ATmega32 with SEEPROM AT24C64. and it's solve my memory problem

I need to interface it with cy62256 (RAM) and at29040 (ROM). how can I do it? is it possible to interface them with atmega32?
