hi,
how to run matlab code from ADS schemetic
i want to desing a component whose s paramters are defined by a Matlab program/file
regards

ads matlab

check the matlab ads interface , but this option u will use the DSP engine of ADS "potelmy simulator"

khouly

Re: ADS-Matlab

can ael compiler of ads compile the matlab file/code if yes then how
& how to assign the scattering parameters for each port of my 2 port component model ?(in AEL)

What do you like to do ?

Cosimulation between ADS and Matlab is cosimulation of Ptolemy and MATLAB(not Simulink).
If you want to use Analog/RF domain schematics of ADS, you have to interface this via Ptolemy for MATLAB cosimulation.

Anyway AEL is not related.

You can use S-parameter in Simulink as FIR filter.
This is easy if you have RF block set in Simulink.

In Ptolemy, model is unidirectional, so only S21 is considered.
