here i need this design for industrial purpose please guide me.
i controlled my avr microcontroller and it is working fine for its power supply i used 12 v 1 amp dc adapter and in mid we required power in absense of genral power supply so i used 12 v 7ah smf lead acid battery .
but i m confused is that diagram will work fine.or i need any changes
and regarding fuse i m also confused which fuse ( 1, 1.5 or 2 amp ) ishud use and where i shud place
main thing is when power is continue then i can take power from adapter directoly or if power goes then without any power flicks ican take power from battery and battery can be charged properly through adapter.
so please guide me what i shud do for this
Lead acid battery needs for full charge Ucharger 13.8V = Ubatt max.
For continuous (float) charging: 13.4 V for gelled electrolyte and 13.8 V for flooded cells
Normally battery chargers do not load batteries, when ac-power is not connected.
If series diode is added between battery and charger it makes about 0.8V additional voltage drop
Fuse F2 can be included to charger and value depends from charger
Fuse F1 for load , value depends from current needed in load.
SIR THNX TO REPLY
but my confusion is same again.
in my design i suppose i shud use 12 v 1.5 amp charger so that in time a 12 v battery can be charged and my kit can be run
continuosly both.
so please check my design and tell me in that what changes i nedd must
please help me
There is no problem to run kit same time when charging.
If your kit works lower current than charger current (1.5A) left over is going to charge battery.
If your kit can handle charger max. voltage ( normal charger about 13.6....13.8V)
(check if unsure)
