This is a buffer or a preamplifier (because the gain is significant) and a new interesting housing for it. After few tests with other systems, the most optimal parameters of elements were chosen. All parts were seleced and paired with an accuracy up to 1%.

The tube buffer can be connected between the amplifier and the source of sound such as a CD. The tube buffer softens sharp sound of the player, and can also add warmth and vivid sound to the music, create the atmosphere of the scene.
That effect can be obtained particurarly from paired harmonics. What is that? Natural environment sounds, sounds of instruments and voices of singers do not contain individual signals, in the basic tone they are always accompanied by the paired harmonics.
Unfortunately, transistor amplifiers contain much fewer paired harmonics than the tube, thus complementing the set by buffer becomes meaningful.
Transistor amplifiers play dry, hard and even hard.

The buffer transfers full frequency range, reduces high frequency sound, even though the sound is not very changed after leaving the buffer, you can hear the difference while listening to music.

Elements used:
  • metallized resistors
  • MKT capacitors in the signal path
  • gold-plated input and output sockets
  • ferrite ring cancelling the mains hum to zero plus pair plus sized weight lead
  • for the exchange capacitors into LOW ESR Nichicon or BOHEN
