A question regarding DC blocker

No. I mean, I basically have the option to use either the discrete capacitor or use the connector.
I would like to use the DC blocking connector. It shouldn't be an issue if I don't use the discrete ac coupling capacitor in that case, right?
 

Without having ANY idea of what's on the other side of that DC block, sure, it should work perfectly.
 

This is my circuit


I have 4 high frequency signals at around 3 to 6 GHz. I don't want the DC to pass through. There are two options. Either I can manually place discrete capacitor (option 1) or use a DC blocking connector (option 2) after the SMA, as shown below.

I am planning to go ahead with Option 2 with a DC blocker that works at these frequencies. This should be okay, right?

Hi Barry, Ya I do. I just wanted to confirm in case they don't have any fancy circuit inside the DC blocker.
