Presented here construction is a small (11x10x7cm) amplifier based on tubes. A box of a toy acts as a housing. PCC88 operate on White's duplicate without speaker transformer. A tube is intended for a channel. Power supply consists of 9 Ni-MH accumulators 2700mAh. You can use three Li-ion cells as well. Glow is plugged directly to the battery. Anode voltage is approximately 120V and is produced by a converter for Nixie tubes. PCC88 tubes have some great advantages: glow takes only 300mA and they operate correctly at 80V on anode, so the amplifier plays the most loudly on those tubes. This amplifier provides really good quality of sound.
