The main assumption was to make a normal electric outlet that is controlled by the popular instant messenger – GaduGadu.
Commands are received by a special application:
Under the “GG Connection settings” enter a number and account password, which will be used by the application. The next step is to connect to the GG server's website using the “Connect” button. Since then, we can send commands to the application from GG and just any number.
- “on” – this command turns on the power supply of the contact
- “off” – this command turns off the power supply of the contact
