HI

Im using a PICDEMO board 2. I just inserted a PIC18F4620 on to it! I have my code up and running on MPLAB, compile through C18 complier. My code complies without any errors.

Next I use "programmer to go" to copy image to my pickit3. No problem yet.

When i connect my pickit3 to my board and click on the "black rubber button" to program my chip- all i see is the status light blink red for 3 sec and then it goes back to green. The active light keeps blinking blue. Power is green.

Could someone help on what is going on?

Thanks

Hi,

? - why are you using the Programmer to Go function - just to see it working ?

The manual should tell you what the blinking lights mean - does your program seem to be in the 4620 and working ?

I only have the PK2 so cannot tell you exactly how the PK3 functions.

Alternativley, if are you just trying to program up your 4620 in which case you normally program the board / chip directly from MPLab , Programmer option drop down menu, PK3

I just wanted to try "programmer to go" function ! :) The red light indicates error! Orange = busy(working). Green = Idel !

I tried the normal way- it works without any errors. The problem is the "program process" completes in 1 sec ( with my board not programmed in real)
