I want to convert a video into frame sequences using MATLAB.

I want to convert a video into frame sequences using MATLAB and want to store the frames into a folder.
 

Do you mean take images at regular intervals and save them?..

For the above case,

aqVideo = videoinput('winvideo', 1, 'RGB24_640x480');
preview(aqVideo);

pause on

for i=1:10
aqImage = getsnapshot(aqVideo);
name=['Frame' num2str(i) '.jpg'];
imwrite(aqImage,name);
pause(0.1)
end
pause off
 
I have a video sequence saved in my PC. I am not taking the video live. So tell the modification in above and thank you!
 

yeah i have the same question i have a video of avi format saved in my pic i want to convert it into frames and save it..
