so, you mean to ..... Testing IGBT whose gate is at pin "3" : connect a 12 v bulb to positive of the battery and to the pin "16" which is the common of these two IGBTs (where emitter of one connected or tied up with collector of the second one) and negative of the battery to the pin "4" which is the emitter of the 2nd IGBT. Now touch one hand's finger to positive post of the battery & touch other hand's finger to pin "3" . The bulb should light on and it should stay on after the finger is removed from pin"3" . Then, touch the -ve post of the battery with one finger & touch the other hand's finger to pin "3'' , the light should turn off & it should stay off after the finger is removed from pin ''3".

Now the IGBT whose gate is at pin "1" : connect a 12 v bulb to positive of the battery and to the pin "13" which is the collector of the IGBT and negative of the battery to the common at pin "16" (where emitter of one connected or tied up with collector of the second one). Now touch one hand's finger to positive post of the battery & touch other hand's finger to pin "1" . The bulb should light on and it should stay on after the finger is removed from pin "1" . Then, touch the -ve post of the battery with one finger & touch the other hand's finger to pin "1'' , the light should turn off & it should stay off after the finger is removed from pin ''1".

Is this right ? then test other 3 pairs as well in a same fashion ????

thanks

I drew instructions.....................

Test 6 pcs IGBT module same way as 3 separate IGBT pairs

Yes, there is one diode / IGBT
Resistor dicharges capacitance Cge.

Across C1 & E 1 means " Across pin 13 & pin 16 for first one , Across pin 13 & pin 15 for second one , Across pin 13 & pin 14 for third one " (on the upper line) & " Across pin 16 & pin 17 for first one , Across pin 15 & pin 17 for second one , Across pin 14 & pin 17 for third one (on the bottom line) ......... ???

Am i right ???
