hello,

does any one know the cheapest PFC chip?

Cheapest PWM chi[p is UC3842 but which is cheapest PFC chip

(CCM or BCM)

You can use UCC28019, with very good results indeed ;-)

I would to give this a try and see for the prices .I am building a 1.5KW 350VDC power unit with multioutput DC voltages .
Presently use a IR 1150 ,not very successfully.

I faced some problems with IR1150, While I saw that chip in commercial power supply, working perfectly!

But I used UCC28019, and its good

What is the power level that you could derive from this ??
I was not able to get this in H K //India markets .
I need the PFC for about 1KW /350VDC /3Amps .
The input range is 85VAC -265VAC/50Hz..
