HI everyone
Need some suggestion here
There is a school project that I need to develop electric drive system , they are asking about the minimization of harmonic problem.
I want to know basically what are the factors for minimization of harmonic in electric drive system (DC drive).

Thanks

Re: how to minimiz of horominc problem in electric DC drive

thank u sir, actually the assignment required to explain the different operation of electric motor in electric light rapid transit system (LRT) . the different operation must include the starting accelerating , steady state, change of load, breaking and stopping.
do you have any suggestion and useful link, I appreciate ur support.
thanks

For "breaking" phase you may want to read/consider about regenerative breaking. This is being widely used these days and it would be very good (advanced topic) for school project.
