hey sorry everyone if you find this question silly.my teacher told me that n-type semiconductor is generally not used in circuit as it as few free electrons .but my doubt is that current depends upon the rate flow of charge and not quantity of charge

your statement "n type semiconductor not generally used... " is not correct.

and " ntype ... has few free elctrons .." is also not correct.

either you have partially understood your class lecture or your teacher might have delivered a wrong statement.
