About Assura QRC in IBM cms9flp

Hello all,
I am trying to extract the layout of an inverter in IBM cms9flp, with Assura 3.1.7, Cadence IC6.1.2. But I do not see any option for Assura QRC/RCX in the IBM_PDK pull down menu of the Layout Editor Window, like Assura DRC/LVS. I found 'Assura -> Run RCX' which is another pull down menu in that window, but no option for Assura QRC !
Could anyone please write me whether I need EXT installed for this option? I did not install the IC and I think I do not have EXT running in my machine, because I did not see any path for it in my .cshrc file. Is EXT obvious for Assura RCX, too?

Refer here: . You probably need Assura3.2 now, refer to the release notes for the assura kit. In Assura3.2 the assura pulldown menu will have Run QRC

In , you mentioned that, path for EXT must come before that of Assura. does it mean that, I shall need EXT together with the Assura 3.2? Is EXT essential for both Assura QRC and RCX?

When EXT comes before ASSURA in PATH, QRC overrides RCX. Note that extraction is not done from the IBM_PDK menu. Once you complete successful LVS (does not have to match, just complete without error), Assura>Run QRC will be available.

Update your IC to 613 also, 612 is very old. There is 614 but not supported by IBM yet. Always refer to release notes from the kit for what versions of the tools are required.

I've got a similar problem but I'm not sure how to fix it.
I'm using Cadence 6.1 and working with Assura 4.1. I've just got EXT 9.1 installed as well but after launching RCX the run fails with the following warnings:

Actually I use set_tool when I log in my unix environment so I first install EXT and afterwards Assura so I think that's equivalent in having EXT before Assura in PATH. Is that correct?? Notwithstanding I can see only the RCX menu but not the QRC one...
I also had to follow some steps in order to create the unified qrcTechFile but I am not sure I did it right. I'm really getting crazy with this stuff!!! Please, help!!!! :|

maybe there's some mistake in your environment setting, So you can't invoke QRC instead of RCX, here is how i fix it. Hope it could help you.
