Hi,
I am trying to read a barcode image using the image processing
toolbox in matlab.I am able to read a perfectly horizontal and ideal(ie less
noise elements) barcode image. However, that logic is totally useless if
it has any orientation other than horizontal.I have had quite a few
discussions on this and what people suggest that I may use 1 D wavelet
transform. Also,I seem to have seem some other implementations where
numerous diagonal lines cut the image and probably scan the black and
white pattern along those lines. Then there's mention of Hough
transform as well.I am quite at loss how to proceed. Can someone please
guide me towards some algorithm ....or some code snippet(either matlab
or any other language)...thanks in advance.
