OrCad Capture Footprint naming in Schematics

Hi,

Now i understand that footprints is eventually done in Layouts, but while using the capture tool and generating the netlist, it prompts a requirement to indicate footprints.

I understand that this is not very important, but in general:
Whats the standard methodology/naming convention for Footprints while creating a netlist in Schematic Design?

I am a beginner, so kindly adjust...
 

IPC helps designer adopt standard conventions for the PCB footprints in the standard IPC-7351B. Please go through the below link. Its free to download.
