Hi All,

We are setting up simulation servers in the lab that will mainly run Cadence. I looked up Dell, Sun and HP Rack servers and found some pretty attractive packages. Anyone else knows of any company that make servers? Would want to check them out too.

Thanks,
Al

Hi

Our company use sun as simulation server too, but It‘s operating system is Solaris, a sort of UNIX.

Actually, for linux, even we dont need special workstations. linux (for example RHEl 6.0) can be installed in almost any desktops or laptops.

so, all you need is a powerful computer.
