hi
can you be more specific like input range voltage and current and similarly you output requirements

I can get 230V to 50V 3A transformer as the input, I dont know how you control current 0-3A

Its a somewhat complex schematic!

Can you provide me a understandable schematic? Thanks.

just type ( 0-50V voltage and 0-3A current controlling DC power supply circuit ) in textbox Google then click here 0-50V 2A Bench power supply

I have built one of "electronic-lab" power supply circuit about a year ago, it didnt work. Give me some info on how to make one (want to control current 0-3A) , I might be able to design a circuit. Im a first year student, I admit I don't know much, but I can try. Thanks.

If you want to generate from 220V AC. First, please use a full-bridge and LC filter to rectify it to a croase DC. Then use a flyback AC-DC converter to generate 50V, 3A output.

i've made 30v power supply few years back i'll give you diagram you have to wait may be tomorrow i am outside my work station ok

Check out LM338.
Not going to get much simpler than that.
You will have to add more external stuff if you want to be able to set a current limit
below 5A , but that can come later.
Cheers
Rob
Sorry , didn't see the 50V rating.
Try a lm317HV with external pass transistor. Still pretty simple!!

Ok upload it when you can. Thanks.

what types of converter are you talking about? DC-DC Converter or ACDC converter?
