[SOLVED] PIC16F876A can operate with 3.3v?

I have a 16F876A (not LF) and i want to use it in a 3.3v system. can it work with 3.3v?

however data sheet says that it should be work above 4 v.
 

looking at the datasheet it can work with 3.3V .It says "Wide operating voltage range (2.0V to 5.5V)" as its characteristics and 3.3V is also within supply(VDD) voltage range. Most of them work with 3.3V

this specification is for LF series not for F series.
 

i disabled BOR it worked with 3.3v (and 4MHZ XT). but i don't know that such working is stable or not?
 
I have experience project with 16f876 at 3v. it really work but be careful to manage output cct

but I am not recommend to use project with very precisely operation

check it with any clock oriented functionality, like any synchronous communication with other devices to know its stable working. Disabling BOR is OK
 

Thanks for your suggestion. I think that i should change my operating voltage to 5v. Because my design should work in noisy place (random noisy place) an should not be affected with noises. And i think working below Microchip recommendation voltage is not a good way however in practice it works.
