can anyone suggest any good materials for studying mixed signal VLSI using verilog HDL?any good textbooks or lectures ?

so the ordinary verilog or vhdl is not enough?are they similiar to ordinary verilog and vhdl ?what about the difficulty level and time needed to study?(if ordinary verilog took me 3 days)

why ADC and DAC be used with ordinary verilog to do the analog part?why a separate language?
