how to check specif trace width in a routing layer..

hi
i am using allegro16.2
i have a board routed with 5,6 and 10 mil trace width . Now i need to change all 10 mil trace width to 8mils. How to do this. and if only need to delete or highlight 5mil trace width then how would i select or highlight.please help

Hi sapphire,

if you want to highlight the net select DISPLAY--->Assign color and then select (right hand side) click find to select the which one going to highlight like net ,symbol ,pin etc and select the color from option buttton.

if you want to change 10 mils to 8 mils trace first select setup---> constraints----> physical work space of constraints will open and then select net layer change the trace width one by one (ensure which net going to change )

or

Delete which net going to change and then select line width 8mils and then route it
 

Hi,

To change tracewidth from 10mils to 8mils,you can use the attached script.

just copy this file in your project folder.then open your board file in allegro.
In command window type

skill load "cwidth.il"

then type the command

cwidth

A window appears where you can select and change the tracewidth in a particular layer.
 
we dint found any script to find the specif trace width. please could u send me the script for our use to check this out... I think we really needed this if this scrip might work properly.. .
