Hi,

I need a 130um library (cmos model) file for BSIM3. Can I use the models given in files of "Wafer Electrical Test Data" from MOSIS. Like in this file :

ftp://ftp.isi.edu/pub/mosis/vendors/ibm-013/t85t_8rf_8lm_dm-params.txt

In the end of file parameters "T85T SPICE BSIM3 VERSION 3.1 PARAMETERS " are given.
Can I use this in my simulation to produce good results. Can this be used to produce work for publication ???

Thanks..

Hi himansg,

Yes. For sure you can use this model in your simulations and publish your results. This model was generated for one specific run (in the case you picked up, Sept 2005). I have already used models from the MOSIS website.
In the directory: ftp://ftp.isi.edu/pub/mosis/vendors/ibm-013/, you will find others models. All of them are corrected. They are only related to different runs and the electrical parameters are slightly different. Using more than one model, you can have an idea of how the variability of this process can modify the performance of your circuit.

Best regards.

Thanks for your help ....
