hi all people out there,
could anyone guide me how i can modify this power circuit to have 40V in the output????
I have built the circuit with Multisim but it's not functioning properly. it just shows 17V in the output.

plz explain them scientifically

here is the main link to the circuit:
0-30 VDC STABILIZED POWER SUPPLY WITH CURRENT CONTROL 0.002-3 A

Thanks in advance

Hello, dear friend! You will find that even the most sophisticated simulation is some times far from true! This can be due to wrong inputs or the program is not considering all the factors. The magic is to try to build it yourself. Maybe you know that this supply uses parametric stabilization, which is not so efficient. To increase the output voltage you will need a transformer with higher secondary voltage. You also will have to check the highest possible working voltages of the active elements of the stabilizer and replace accordingly those who have lower maximum working voltages. There are also some IC stabilizers, which you can use to make a decent PS.Hope this helped!

The website with that power supply has a very long thread about all the things that are wrong with it (it does not produce an output of 30V at 3A and many of its parts including its transformer are overloaded). The thread shows improvements that make it work properly and reliably.

If you want 0V to 40V at up to 3A then the entire circuit must be re-designed.
