Hi all,
I am trying to build an IR fan speed controller using SIRC protocol. I've already done the part where the microcontroller uses the IR receiver and decodes which button has been pressed. I am using PIC12F675. Since the has to be physically very small, I need to drive the triac without an MOC3021. I've seen another similar available product and there the circuit was like this. How do I drive the triac now. I can't understand how to drive the triac. Can someone please help me?

want to make a wireless fan speed controller using microcontroller...plz can ne1 provide me the circuit and the code for it pllzzzz......urgently!
thnx in advance!
