do u need ac voltmeter or dc
tell me ,i will help you

Hi,

Here the datasheet for a ICL710X:

The Intersil ICL7106 and ICL7107 are high performance, low
power, 31/2 digit A/D converters. Included are seven
segment decoders, display drivers, a reference, and a clock.
The ICL7106 is designed to interface with a liquid crystal
display (LCD) and includes a multiplexed backplane drive;
the ICL7107 will directly drive an instrument size light
emitting diode (LED) display.

Someone else was looking for a standalone voltmeter, so I dug up the datasheet.

All you need to supply is either a segmented 3 1/2 LCD or LED and viola! You have a complete voltmeter.

Hope this info helps!

i think lion2020 wants to build voltmeter using micro controller and 7seg so s/he can't control voltage from this chip this is just a voltmeter

Then he doesn't want a voltmeter, he wants a programmable DC supply with 7 segment display!

They are two different animals completely.
