Hi EM-men

I am a FEKO user and am trying to regenerate the results of this paper

Y. Bayram, P.C.Chang, R.J. Burkholder and J.L. Volakis, “Hybrid Semi-Analytical Technique for Modeling Brick Walls at High Frequencies,” 2007 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Conference, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, June 2007.

As you see the full-wave results are those of HFSS.

Now I have a few questions:
1. The dimensions of the unit cell in the paper seem slightly wrong, am I right?
2. How long does the simulation (one pol. over freq range) take in HFSS?
3. How long does the simulation (one pol. over freq range) take in FEKO?
(just the estimates with comparable accuracy and resolution to the paper
on a say Intel:Duo 2GHz/2GB)
4. Is FEKO reliable for this? I get really nasty results!

In order to facilitate FEKO runs for you, I upload my own model, I'm not an expert at all, so I may have made errors during model creation, so please check it and let me know your opinion about the model, the results and my questions above.

I hope I am not taking no one's time too much!

I use FEKO 5.5 and HFSS 12. If you could give me a HFSS model for this paper too it would be better.

By the way this period wall modeling a hot topic of research in schools like OSU and UMich funded basically by DARPA:VisiBuilding
