hai,

I need to know how an image downsampled by a 2D matrix.
like d=[2,0;0,2]
I need to downsample an image which is in matrix form by this 'd'.
if the image is 512x512 how could i make this d to the size of image.

Please can any one help me

Thank you

create a mask with your 'd'.....convolve the image with the mask,so that your image gets downsampled......
