Need help "stk500.ebn" how can I convert to "

stk500.hex

Hi, everybody.

Now I created AVR programmer board HVProg

It's a STK500 cloned, used with many type of AVR and support firmware upgrading by AVRStudio. And my interesting is High Volt Parallel Programming mode.

But my big problem is How to program firmware to ATMEGA8535 in HVProg.

Because of AVRStudio is including firmware of STK500, but the format is *.ebn

C:\Program Files\Atmel\AVR Tools\STK500\STK500.ebn

Now I can program AVR by SI-Prog via PronyProg from Lancos.

This program supports firmware file many format, but excluded *.ebn



Somebody can convert *.ebn format to *.hex please.

stk500 hex

Hi,

You can make an AvrProg to program At90s8535 ou AtMega8535 with stk500.ebn, Atmel uses AvrProg to update Stk500, give a look here **broken link removed**

Run:

ebn2hex.exe stk500.ebn stk500.hex

This extension are ATMEL specific format for uploading ...
They have a bootloader on STK500 which can encode the firmware file...

May be the enb2hex can help...
I like to try it too...

my problems with dre hammer stk500:
1 avr studio /the new one/ in communication was set to 9600b/s,and stored.when I uninstall ,and install older verson with 115200b/s HV start's at the first time!
ps i made a advanset version with dip atmega and IC's and smd rezistors and C
2 with the target board -too long HV programing cable ,Atmega 8 do not respond at SPI ,but in HV mode was ok.so i made a board for SPI for atmega8....:-(
