Hello,

I am running LVS and i have no errors but the run cannot complete successfully as it gives the following error :

*ERROR* Device 'tdndsx(Generic)' on Layout is unbound to any Schematic device
*ERROR* Device 'tdpdnw(Generic)' on Layout is unbound to any Schematic device.
*ERROR*UnBound devices found

I do not have tie downs in my schematic but they exist in the layout. Is there any way to tell the assura not to consider the tie-downs during the check? My design kit IBM cms9flp.

Thanks in advance for any helpful answer.

Re: tie down LVS error

Your wells need to have their equivalent schematic representation as well. This is usually specific to your DK.

Re: tie down LVS error

can you be more specific?i am talking aboun tie downs (inversely biased diodes is the electrical symbol from the IBM design kit) and not about wells...if i understood your opinion is to place tie downs to the schematic as well, right? Is there any way to "tell" assura (with a switch or something else) to bypass this check?A colleague told me that there is a way to do that with calibre but he didn't known the way to do this with assura...

Re: tie down LVS error

You already know that the orthodox method is to include it in your schematic. Why try to cheat LVS?

can you try adding a cell name in the ?ignoreCell list under the "Modify avParameters? I dont have the ibm kit, so I can't give you an example...
