I have generated a 12v square wave pulse
i want to count missing pulse in 1 sec
can anyone give me solution how to do so

iam using AT89C4051 after generating 12v pulse i have use a resistor divider to down voltage to 5v max required for AT89C4051
any change in hardware i have to make just give me a reply
how to see count pulse missing
 

I think we will need a lot more detail to make sense of that question.
