hi everyone!!!
can u pls tell me which substrate will be suitable for designing 403.5MHz low profile antenna? how can i proceed??
As it is not possible to fabricate it on Silicon substrate due to size limitations.

Thanks in advance!!

how about using fr4 (Woven glass and epoxy) as substrate. it is commonly used in PCBs

thnx!! ....
but i need some more help fron u dear... can u pls tell me if i go to design a monopole antenna then which feed will be suitable for this ?? is monopole a gud option?? or some other type u prefer to suggest me??

FR4 (Er) = 4.4
any other suitable substrate with dielectric constant higher than this?? actually on FR4 antenna dimensions are coming much larger...

if you want long distance communication for 403.5Mhz then use helical antenna for simulation, but for short distance fr4 will work but you have to tune it with rlc circuit. i hope this helps...
