As far as I know current through left box is the same as the current through right box. How do I caclulate current through left box?

And overall this diagram, how do I calculate gain? Ideally, using HSpice??

what about using parameters like Vg5 Vg6,then list several equations to solve the current?

Re: How do I calculate current through cascade current mirro

seems like a current comparator. do dc sweep on Vg

Vdd=Iref*Rref+2*sqrt(Iref/((u*Cox/2)*W/L)) left box branch

The equation for a mos-0 model is not analytical solveable for Iref. So you have use a better dimensioning strategy.

Start by defining the Vdsat of the MOS. The the remaining voltage across the reference resistor is simple substraction.

Rref=(Vdd-2*(Vth+Vdsat))/Iref

Then calculate the dimension of the two MOS from given Vdsat and Iref.
