Hi everybody
How can I change background color in virtuoso schematic editor?
I do not see any option for this at Display Options. You can see my Display options window at attached picture.
Thanks by advanced.

Re: How can change background color in virtuoso schematic ed

I guess that the layers for viewtype "schematic" are set by either the techfile or the initial configuration. There is a default setup for schematic layers, which are typical less technology dependend. This can be overwritten by user or designkit settings. But you can also define user layers or redefine properties like the color setting of the background, dot and grid. I think if you make all layer valid in the LSW avaible from layout editor you can change via a grafic form the layer color.

Thanks for your replay rfsystem.

At Display Resource Editor, I found background drawing and changed its
Fill and Outline colors from 'black' to 'white' and saved it in a new .drf file, then I exited this window and
loaded this new file from LSW-->Edit--> Load... but nothing happened.
What should I do now? :|

Re: How can change background color in virtuoso schematic ed

Thanks my GOD
I am very very happy that I could change the background color from Black to white!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

And I want to share this happiness with you by telling you how to do this.

Please follow these steps:

1- run icfb
2- Open a Terminal and type:
xrdb -query > xyz
3- return to specified folder. You should see the xyz file. Open this file in edit mode.
4- in the xyz file, change or add the option Opus.editorBackground from
black to your desired one. for example:
Opus.editorBackground: white
5- at the UNIX or LINUX prompt (e.g. the second terminal you opened), type:
xrdb -load xyz
6- restart your Cadence software
7- Enjoy the result!
