Hello everyone,
I use Allegro SPB 16.2 and when I have open schematic in Capture and PCB in Allegro PCB Designer, when I click on component in Capture it lights up in PCB Designer and zooms the screen so that only the selected component is visible in PCB. How Can I adjust it that it does not change the zoom in the PCB Designer but just hilight the selected component so I don't lose the big picture? And also, when I select a component in PCB Designer it does not light up in Capture even though the intertool communication is enabled in Capture? Am I missing something?
Thank you in advance!

You can do this by going to Setup>>User Preference
Regarding selection in schematic try to start Capture first then Allegro or vice versa
There is a little glitch that persist sometimes.

Good Luck,

M

Hello majnoon,
Where in User Preferences? at the Logic section I selected Capture as Logic tool, but I can't figure out what other options I should select or change. As for now no luck with PCB to Capture selection :(

Is in input. When you place mouse on any options it will display what each of them do.

Now I see....I fixed the zooming thing, now experimenting with the PCB to Schematic selection. Thank you!
