hey...
am new to verilog..and i have to implement an 8 bit FFT using block floating point arithmetic.i want to understand wht to do in it.
i need hep urgently..

The first step is to implement the floating point unit. Then, you use the butterfly structure to make the FFT.

can u explain a bit what i have to do?
actually i have no idea what to do n how :( :(...
the first link u gave conains vhdl code while i need guidannce in verilog..

i have got idea abt tht sinconversion..now only prblem iz abt butterfly method..

Added after 2 minutes:

another thing is tht i need to implement tht thing for 8 bit...the sincomputer takes 20 inut data...
