Hi, my friend

thanks very much.
any good method 20points!

Here you can find some good examples

i have a problem on this chapter
page 175
How Can I get the value
lh = 8.9 mm and lv = 7.9 mm?

How calculated?
thanks very much

This is half guided wavelength and the calculation can be find in this chapter.

I can't got the value lL = 11.04 mm and lC = 9.75 at page 111 of chapter 5
Help me
I use the value the book gived, but i can get the 11.04 and 9.75.
thanks very much

anyone help me ?
Just try it with the value the book gives.
thanks very much

The book is correct. The values can be reproduced. Perhaps you didn't read it exactly. The angle is in rad, of course.

according the vulae the book gives (page 111 chapter 5)
wc = 2*pi*fc; % fc =1GHz
L1 = L3 = 8.209 × 10–9 H
landa_gl = 118
Z0l = 93
length_l = landa_gl/(2*pi*sin((wc*L1)/Z0l))
length_l==>it's not 11.04 mm!!!!
it's 35.6625mm

whether my calculate method is wrong?
thanks

sin^-1 means arcsin not 1/sin
