Hi people, Its me again...
It has been quite some time, I've finished with my thesis and by now I know quite a lot more about FDTD. But I can't find the time (already started on my PhD) to write the rest of the guide....
So once more, I call for people with FDTD knowledge which will propably be better than mine to add to the wiki....
FDTD is not a hard method but it has many "secrets" if you will that might take a newbiew quite some time to work out, especially without a person who knows the method standing over his shoulder....
Topics I will try to cover in the future:
-> ABCs: Mur 1st, 2nd and Anti-LTI Mur
-> Source Modeling: Voltage Edge Sources, Dipole Modeling+PEC,PMC
-> Input Impedance Calculation: Current Calculation, Z calculation perhaps even FFT for Gaussian pulses
-> SAR calculations and averaging
-> Bioheat Equation and Thermal simulations
-> Human Body and Head modeling: model (Zubal), biomaterials (Gabriel)
There are still many things that I do not know so anyone who does is more than welcome to write about them in a very simple and analytical way (like I did in my guide, kind of a '4 Dummies' way and either append it on the wiki or send me the text and I will add it to the guide:
Such topics should cover:
-> PML
-> Far Field Transformations
-> Many many other things that don't come to mind right now
