fft calculation

Hi all;

i have designed two sigma delta modulators one that has a 1bit quantizer and other has a 5bit quantizer, without the design of output filters how can i calculate the FFT of the output of each modulators for achieving power spectral density?

Regards

Re: FFT calculation

Are you worried about aliasing occurring in sampling you need to do to perform FFT?

Re: FFT calculation

I don’t understand sigma delta in detail because I work in another field. But from there I wanted to test an idea for sigma delta and saw that is feasible or not (by matlab simulink). My problem is in fft calculation because the output of sigma delta modulator is different from other types of ADC.

Re: FFT calculation

If you can explain what data you are handling, like numerical data of the plot or the plot itself, it will help one to come out with a solution that can be of your help.
