sequence generation

Hi All,
If given the mean and variance of a distribution how to find the gaussian sequence manually. What is the actual method?

Thanks in advance

Ashutosh

random sequence

There is expression for Gaussian distribution which contains both these parameters and no parameters else. So you can easily regenerate the distribution.

use the expression for gaussian distribution as

e Λ [ (x-µ)² / σ² ]

where x = variable

µ = mean

σ = variance
