Hi, everyone.

I just got some SPICE library from the vendors for a couple devices, such as general purpose BJT, power FET, zener diode. I am wondering how can I build the corresponding device in Agilent ADS, by importing these SPICE model in "lib" format? Thanks.

Hi wingli,

IN ADS, you go to File ___> import then push on Browse to link you file...

After that, the ADS wil make you automatically the schematic cicruit...

good luck

Using ADS (Main) goto file import -> Browse to the file -> click more options -> select Pspice and other appropriate options -> Hit OK.

When the design appears. In the design window goto file design parameters, then you can select a symbol to use and what library the device will appear in.

Cheers

sometimes it's more difficult, you need to modify the .lib file before importing with ADS.
It depends, ADS doesn t understand all .lib files immediately and return error, you need to know how .lib file is done to check the file and manual edit it
