i'm stuck with relationship between s parameters and permitivity and permeability
can smbody help?

Hi,

it is not so easy for this forum,

so S11 is about wave impedance and return loss

and loss (S21-S11) is not about ε and µ, it is about σ and tan δ (exactly complex permitivity and permeability

actually i want to reach permitivity and permeability via s parameters thru impedance and refractive index
