hello Genius guys...

Plz help me in solving ma problem....
Sir i want to increase my transmission length........


I have used rs-232 to Rs-485 convertor.....How would i connect these 2 connectors 2 gther....Plz see attached picture and help me as soon as possible

D+/A with D+/A
D-/A with D-/A
GND with GND
+8V with +8V

The only thing is very importat to know: RS-232 is a full duplex communication. RS-485 is half duplex. You can't transmit in both directions at same time.

Then what i have to do in order to make my circuit in working condition..............

How this problem of full duplex and half duplex will be solved

Do you really need full duplex?

The right sollution is using RS-422, not RS-485.

If you need full duplex, and still want to use RS-485. You must buy two additional RS-232 RS485 converters. And use the Transmit RS232 Pin from one of port in one of converter and, in the other side the converter connected to it use the RX pin of RS232. The others two RS485 converters, must use the opposite pins. So, if the first RS232 port use the TX pin, for the second converter must use the RX pin, and in the other side of wire, must be putted the TX pin of the other RS232

And if possible can u upload some picture .....for how to connect 2 additional converters.....Plz plz reply....
