connecting rs422 to avr

Hi all
I'd like to connect RS422 to an AVR (for example ATmega16), but I did not find anything useful. Can anyone help us?

From the microcontroller side this looks similar to the RS-232 transmission, but you use differential drivers and twisted pairs for both communication lines (Rx and Tx) ..
