graduation projects in communication engineering

Please advice
i am graduating this year i am searching a project based on communication engineering, i saw a lot i haven't still found an intresting one with hardware and sofware based, good in the present or the near future.
If u have one please don't hesitate to write from A to Z. or where i can i find in details.
I m in egypt and i am not egyptian so it s had for me to find some1 help me.
thanks alot

communication engineering graduation projects

elsalamo 3likom

we are in Egypt very helpful, just ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any way , implementation of some communication blocks on DSP or FPGA is very common.

if you want a new , interesting thing go on for making functions by embedded matlab subset ( version 7.5 and more) , this codes can be downloaded to DSP or FPGA .

For a good idea try SC-FDMA used in LTE , new and powerful.

please include more details about what you want exactly.

graduation project in communication engineering

Thank you very much medra
I have picked up cdma appliacation project and i m collecting any idea about it and the design procedure, i want to do it hardware not simulation, so bro if u have any idea about that let share please.

dsp graduation projects

You must decide how to implement, you have 2 choices :DSP or FPGA

for a dsp it is easy , just make simulink models and download to kit ( may be you need to write some codes, the life is not so ideal !!!!)

for FPGA: it needs more work , a good basics of VHDL.

choose what suits you more.

embedded graduation projects

ths
which choise do think is bettar
i don't want it to be simlation or just aprogram then burnt on kit
i want it to be more hardware than software or wat do u think
by da way r u right now in egypt

implementing on DSP is easier and better , because you spend most time on understanding the mean concepts , not on writing codes.
also it doesn't need a team.

while implementing on FPGA needs mostly a team so that each one can implemment a part by using a VHDL code.

or you could use ready made cores ( as IP cores made by xilinx).

Any way DSP is better im my opinion.

About making a hardware more than a sofeware , I don't know , you could go to ti , atmel and st companies websites and see if there is IC's that you could use.

there is a wimax IC provided by ATMEL , so I think you will find some stuff.
I think implemeting with real hardware not kits will be harder( but I don't know exactly, may be I am wrong).

Yes, I am in Egypt , where to go??? :D surely in ALexandria

press helped me button in all my replies :D

dsp graduation project

wat do i need when implementing in dsp, i don't hav any background in dsp, just i knw it s used for controlling antenna arrays. I mean how the system wil go in brief....
thx

graduation project dsp

" used in controlling antenna array" ???? you background is horrible :D
Any way here is your way to do your project:

1- you will decide your application and understand it well

2- you will go to simulink ( matlab ) and make your own model with the existing blocks,
if there is a component in your system that you didn't find ; you could make it your self by embedded matlab functions.

3- simulate your design with many different inputs to ensure it is working well

4- try to download it to the DSP kit

5- confirm that it is really working on the DSP ( try many inputs and outputs)

it is finished.

there may be many details in each step, but you must try to search , or ask your colleauges, that's what will make you a good engineer.

lte graduation projects

coool.
That seems easy. anyway i m going to do digital tranciever plus am adding spreading techniquesonly , all hardware.
by da way one of da dsp applications is that it used for steering smart antennas, to a desired direction that tracks mobile unitsas they move (directivity)
anyway thx
salaam
