Openhaim's book is best, for practice u can see salivhanan's book too

C algorithms for real-time DSP Paul M. Embree (ISBN 0-13-337353-3)

This is a positive DSP book.

Thanx a lot guys for all of yours feedback, I have also checked one of the previous discussions on "" and as you've said it is the Proakis' and Oppenheim's books.

"digital signal processing" authored by "oppenhiem" covers almost every aspect of the issue both theoretical and practical. and it aslo has lots of examples and practice problems.

What is the title of Openhaim's book ?

please read

Discrete Time Signal Processing
second eidition
Oppenhein, Shaffer and Buck

"Introduction To Signal Processing", by Sophocles Orfanidis

Hi jetset, can you send the link for this book

John_OR, I haven't found this book to download so I bought it some years ago. There is a book here at EDA that has kind of the same content, is very similar, but the difference is that the Orfanidis book has a lot of code examples in C and Matlab.

orafanedes.. and for beginers dsp by lyons .. 4 matlab.. dsp using matlab by proakis

One annoying thing about Oppenheim and Schaffer is their switch in notation.

Their Signals book uses small omega as continuous time frequency, capital omega as discrete time frequency.

Their DSP book uses small capital omega as continuous time frequency, small omega as discrete time frequency.

I have come to expect differences in notation, but by the same authors?

Both good nonetheless.

I found a free book that is very nice to read, very easy of understand, I really recommend (and is free!):

https://www.dspguru.com/info/books/favor.htm

It have practical examples, easy of implement code for computer like the old Quick Basic but it was for me very helpful.

Hi,

can anyone provide me the ebook and solution for
Digital Signal Processing by Alan V. Oppenheim and Ronald W. Schafer

Thanks..

HAK..
