Visio 2007 Is the best. Especially if you'd like to draw circuits for papers and reports.

what's about visio 2003? is there much difference between visio 2003 and visio 2007?

For simple schematics, I advice you to use Visio.
 

I use Electronic Workbench for drawing simple circuit and simulate it.. but somtimes i use proteus..
And DXP Protel 2004 for designing board
 

proteus is also a great software
